Clifford Sorensen, 54, died at the Story County Hospital this morning a 4:40 o'clock following an illness which had extended over a seven months period.
Funeral arrangement were pending at noon time today. The body was removed to the Ryan Funeral Home where it will remain until time of the funeral services.
Mr. Sorensen, well known painter and decorator, was born in Nevada July 30, 1899, a son of Rasmus and Bodil Sorensen. he had lived in Nevada his entire life.
He was married in Chicago, Ill., on December 16, 1926 to Alice Swain of Nevada and to this union was born one daughter, Miss Nancy Sorensen of Washington, D. C. He was a member of Memorial Lutheran church.
Surviving are the wife, Alice and daughter, Nancy, and the following brothers, Fred, Herman, Harry and Peter Sorensen all of Nevada and sisters, Mrs. Mont (Sophia) Hansen, Nevada, Stena Gunder of New York City and Mrs. H. A. (Mary) Shearman, Nevada and Mrs. Minnie Strine of Arlington, Va.
