RITES FOR ACCIDENT VICTIM WEDNESDAY

COLO--Funeral services for John Shenkle, 24, son of Mrs. and Mrs. Frank Shenkle of near Colo, who was instantly killed in an automobile accident on highway No. 30 near Marshalltown early Sunday morning will be held form the Church of Christ in Collins Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery at Collins.

Shenkle wh was thrown clear of the car, had his skull crushed. Harlan Mains of Colo and Harley Reimenschneider of State Center with whom Shenkle was riding, were also injured. George Adamson, driver of the car which collided with the Mains car was not injured.

Shenkle is survived by his parents and a sister Irene a student at Simpson college. He was graduated from the Colo high school in 1925 and was a student at the University of Iowa. He would have graduated from the school of pharmacy there in June.

The Shenkle family formerly resided in Collins.
