Committal Service For Early Day Nevada Resident
Committal services for Margaret Mills Bray, of Omaha, Neb., wife of William H. Bray, were held in the Nevada cemetery, Tuesday afternoon a 2 p.m. with the Reverend James D. Hanson officiating.
Mrs. Bray passed into eternal sleep Tuesday, May 7, after a year's illness.
She had come to Nevada with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Mills about 1870. The family home was where the O. B. Ingalls, Minnie Cessna, Earl Handsaker homes now stand.
The body was accompanied to Nevada by the husband, Wm. H. Bray, of Omaha, and two nieces, Miss Grace Huntsinger and Mrs. Alice Huntsinger Jones of Lincoln, Nebr.
Daughter of an early day pioneer Nevada family which had been active in Central Presbyterian church circles, she had been a resident of Story City for many years. She had been in charge of the nursery department of the First Presbyterian church in Omaha for number of years.
Mr. Bray and Mrs. Jones returned to Nebraska following the service. Miss Huntsinger remained over for a visit with Mrs. E. M. McCall.
