Jerome Lynn Clabaugh was born July 10, 1972 to Don and Fern (Faiferlick) Clabaugh in Iowa City, Iowa. Jerome grew up in the Stanhope/Jewell area and attended South Hamilton High School. After high school, Jerome did carpentry work with Don Soma. He later worked for Neighbors Heating & Cooling before accepting his current position with the Facilities Management Department at Mary Greeley Medical Center.

Jerome passed away Friday, July 12, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer at 41 years of age.

He is survived by his wife, Yolanda (Smith) Clabaugh; his children, Chase Clabaugh, Kirstie Sargent and Jacob Sargent; his parents, Don and Fern Clabaugh of Stanhope; two brothers, Mike and his wife Patty Clabaugh and Anthony and his wife Robin Clabaugh; two nieces; and eight nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Jennifer Clabaugh; and his brother, Nicholas Clabaugh.
