Robert R. Paque
June 21, 1940 - May 11, 2013Robert Raymond “Bob” Paque, 72, of Ames, passed away May 11, 2013 at Abington on Grand in Ames. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 15th at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Ames. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 16th at Bethesda Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Ames Municipal Cemetery.
Bob Paque was born June 21, 1940 to Raymond and Evelyn (Van De Leest) in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He served in the Air National Guard and worked as a Customer Service Engineer for IBM. Bob married Juanita Cashman on May 6, 1967. He attained the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America and was a member of the Ames Town and Country Kiwanis. Bob enjoyed his cat, Whiskey, and camping at Twin Anchors. He was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Cubs and Iowa State Cyclones.
Bob is survived by his wife Juanita of Ames; three children, Mary Paque, John Paque and Scott Paque; and four sisters, Virginia Bakken of Madison, Wisconsin, Jane (Arthur) Hansen of Tannersville, Pennsylvania, Susan (Charles) Johnson of Seminole, Florida and Kathy (Les) Barry of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother Donald Paque.
