Dennis J. Krokowski
February 22, 1925 - March 13, 2013

Dennis J. Krokowski was born to eternal life on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at the age of 88. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Cecilia Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 15th. Additional services will be held in Milwaukee the week of March 17th.
Dennis Krokowski was born February 22, 1925, to William and Verna (Marlefski) Krokowski in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dennis was a World War II veteran and devoted employee of the State Forest Nursery, Iowa Department of Natural Resources. He was an avid reader and a member of American Legion Post #37 in Ames, Iowa.

He is survived by his sisters Audrey and Arlene; his sister-in-law Theofila Krokowski; and many relatives and friends.

Dennis was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Vlasta “Val” (nee Landskron) Krokowski; his devoted brother Norbert Krokowski; and his brother-in-law, James.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at Green Hills Health Care Center, Mary Greeley Medical Center and Israel Hospice in Ames, Iowa for their compassionate care.
