Agnes Marie Matson
FEB. 20,1912-MARCH 13, 2002

Agnes Marie Matson, 90, of Story City, died Wednesday of a heart attack at her home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Story City with Rev. Stephan Anenson officiating. Burial will be in Story City Cemetery.

Agnes Marie Matson was born Feb. 20, 1912, in Jewell, the daughter of Oney and Malina (Helgoy) Stensland. She married Lewis M. Matson on Ja. 28, 1933. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her son, Duane Matson of Longville, Minn.; three daughters, Lola Jean Templeton of Apple Valley, Minn., Marilyn Whipple of Story City, and Sharon Ellis of Elk River, Minn.; two sisters, 11 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 Sunday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Story City.

Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home of Story City is in charge of arrangements.
