Dr. G. E. DuBois

Dr. G. E. DuBois, 72, a longtime resident of McCallsburg who moved to Story City recently due to ill health, died Thursday evening, June 28 at Story City Memorial Hospital.

Born July 29, 1906 in Hamilton, Ohio, to Joseph H. and Etta DuBois he married Rozella Olson Sept. 2, 1931.

At 1932 graduate of Still College of Osteopathy in Des Moines, he moved to McCallsburg in 1934 and was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Mrs. James (Joetta) McClintock of Santa Barbara, Calif.; one son, Dr. David DuBois of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one brother, Louis DuBois of Hamilton, Ohio; and six children.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Services will be Monday, July 2 at 1:30 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Story City, with Rev. Orris Haraldson officiating. Burial will be in Story City Municipal Cemetery.
