FLOYD KREUTNER

Funeral services for Floyd Kreutner, 62, Story City, were held Dec. 20 from St. Petri Lutheran Church, Story City, with Rev. Rhuben O. Aga officiating. Burial was in Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Floyd Kreutner was born in Harrison township, Boone County, May 29, 1907. He was baptized and confirmed in St. Paul's Lutheran Church near Boone.

He was united in marriage to Ruth Happel Feb. 7, 1932. The couple farmed in Boone County 32 years before they moved to Story City in January, 1965.

Mr. Kreutner died Dec. 18 following an apparent heart attack while at work at the Gookin Ford Garage, Story City. He had been employed there several years.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Staples of Jewell and Mrs. Sherry Terrones, 2409 Melrose Ave.; six grandchildren and six brothers and sisters, Norman Kreutner, Illinois; Clarence Kreutner, Ruthven; Mrs. Cecil Johnson and Mrs. Leonard Vogler, both of Boone, and Mrs. Verna Nutt and Mrs. Rosella Mills, both of Madrid.

Pallbearers were Erwin Hove, Orlin Stark, Robert Larson, Herbert Krumm and Darrel Hubby. Honorary pallbearers were Henry Overbeck, Kenneth Gookin, Gaylen Johnson, Dale Loverin, Harold Hagge and Elmer Ohlmann.
