MRS. JULIA FORD

Funeral services for Mrs. Julia Ford, 87, Story City, were held from Immanuel Lutheran Church, Story City, July 9 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. C. A. Gisselquist officiating. The Rev. M.C. Hagedorn chaplain of Story City Bethany Manor brought a message from home.

Burial was in Mamrelund Cemetery.

Mrs. Julia Ford was born May 4, 1884 in Lisbon, Ill. Her parents were Samuel and Sophie Egemo.

She was married to John Ford in 1905. He preceded her in death in 1925.

Mrs. Ford had been a resident of Story City Bethany Manor since March 1968.

She died at Mary Greeley Hospital.

Survivors include four sons, Thelmar Ford of Story City, Joseph Ford of Stanhope, Jeffry Ford of Stratford and Bervin Ford, Phoenix, Ariz.; four daughters, Mrs. Sophie Amenson and Mrs. Stella Jorgenson, both of Ames and Mrs. Violet Olson and Mrs. Marjorie Ford, both of Huxley; 31 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Luther Egemo and Willie A. Egemo, borth of Story City and two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Wierson and Mrs. Martha Siberill, both of Ames.

Pallbearers were Clark Westvold, David Amenson, James Westvold, Thomas Olson, Phillip Ford and John Ford.
