Former Story City Woman Died Suddenly

Story City, April 27--Mrs. Mary Hanson received the sad news Wednesday, that her daughter, Mrs. Alvin Kasberg had died suddenly at her home at Ironwood, Mich. No particulars were given to the message, so the cause of her death is still unknown by relatives here, but she had apparently been in good health and word of her death comes as a great shock to her family and her many friends in this community.

Before her marriage to Alvin Kasberg, a few years ago, she was Mabel Hanson, the oldest daughter of Mrs. Mary Hanson. She was born and grew to young womanhood in Story City. She attended the local schools and graduated from the Story City high school with the class of 1908. After her graduation she took up teaching, which profession she followed for several years. She was 37 years old at the time of her death.

She laves besides her husband, five small children, her mother and two brothers and on sister, namely Sam Hanson of Harmony, Minn., Luther Hanson of Story City and Mrs. L. B. Lund of London, Minn.

This is the third death in the Hanson family within the past two months. Mrs. Hanson's grand daughter, Marjorie Lund, died March 4, 1928 and Mrs. Hanson's youngest daughter, Mildred Hanson, died March 25, after a long illness. Her son, Harvey Hanson died in June 1925.

Mrs. Hanson head just returned home, Tuesday after spending a few weeks with her daughter, Mrs. Lund, at London, Minn. when she received the message of the death of her daughter.

The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved family in this hour of their great sorrow.

Funeral arrangements have not yet been made but the body will be sent here for interment and funeral services will be announced later.
