Linnie Marvick, Former Story City Resident, Dies at Minnapolis

Miss Linnie Marvick, 65, died Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock at a hospital in Minneapolis. She was a former Story City resident, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. O. Marvick. Her father at one time was Mayor of Story City. She taught for a number of years in the Story City school system. She was born in Illinois, and came to Story City with her parents when she was a young girl. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Amelia House of Minneapolis, and two brothers, Albert Marvick of Chugwater, Wyoming, and Seward Marvick of Ames.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at two o'clock in the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Story City. There will be a prayer service at 1:30 at the home of Mrs. J. N. Andersen. Burial will be in the Story City Cemetery. Reverend T. T. Heimarck will conduct the service.
