CLIFFORD WIERSON

STORY CITY -- Clifford Eugene Wierson, 48, died of a heart attack March 25 in his home at El Dorado, Kan., where he and his family had lived for the past two years.

Funeral services for Mr. Wierson were held from the Grace Lutheran Church in El Dorado, Kan., March 27 with the Rev. R. E. Raebel offficiating.

Pallbearers were Paul Gruham, William Sitz, Joe A. Honer, Donald E. Rader, Leon Ball and Herber Tillock.

A second service was held from the St. Petri Lutheran church March 29 with the Rev. Pernie C. Pederson officiating.

Pallbearers at the Story City service were Larry Eggers, Jon Osheim, Ronald Eggers, Paul Wierson, Gary Morey and Jack Wierson.

Burial was in the Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Mr. Wierson was baptized and confirmed at the St. Petri Lutheran Church. He was married to Nola Weuve of State Center at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marshalltown Nov. 9, 1946.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Craig and Mark; two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Osheim, Story City and Joyce Wierson of Minden, Neb.; a foster mother, Mrs. S. John Wierson, also of Minden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and his aunt, Vernie Wierson who helped raise him after death of his mother.

Mr. Wierson was employed by the Marshall Canning Company in Marshalltown and since 1955 he and his wife have been moted owner-operators in Iowa Falls, Ames and in El Dorado, Kan.
