Flossie Reid died Monday

Flossie Mae Reid died Grand Rapids, Minn., April 19.

Funeral services will be held in Grand Rapids. Mrs. Reid was born Aug. 154, 1889 in Ames. She lived in Ames and Nevada until she went to Minnesota in 1958 to make her home with a son, Thomas Horner.

Survivors include three sons, Thomas Horner, Grand Rapids, Minn.; William Horner, Duluth, Minn., and Fred Horner, 412 East Second St.; five daughters, Thelma Schultz, Eunice Thomas and Artha Erickson, all of 516 Seventh St., Avis Thomas, Highland, Kan. and Wilma Steigelmeir, Nevada; a half sister, Barbara Hartman; a half brother, George Horner, Jewell, two sisters-in-law, Mary Young, 1322 Kellogg Ave. and Blanche Young, 508 Crawford Ave.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Ben Horner in 1967; two daughters, four grandchildren and her parents, Alonzo Young and Barbara Gregory Young.
