Anna Jorgenson, Story City, died

Anna Jorgenson, 84, Story City, died this morning at 10:30 a.m. at the Story City Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient about ten days.

She had lived at the Story City Sunset Home for several years. Born in Story City, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob J. Jorgenson, Story City. Before entering the Sunset Home she lived in Des Moines for a number of years.

Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements will be in charge of Larson Funeral Home, Story City.

ANNA JORGENSON

Funeral services for Anna Jorgenson, 84, Story City were held March 31 at 1 p.m. in the Sunset Home Chapel with the Rev. L. A. Mathre officiating and at 2 p.m. from St. Petri Lutheran Church in Story City with the Rev. George C. Strum officiating.

Burial was in the Story City municipal cemetery. Pallbearers were Miss Jorgenson's nephews, Winfred Olson, Milo Jorgenson, August Rasmusson, Sherman Holm, Arnold Ericson and Morris Ericson.

Miss Jorgenson died March 29 at Story City Memorial Hospital.

Born November 27,m 1875 on the Jorgenson homestead south of Story City, she was baptized and sonfirmed in the St. Petri Lutheran Church. She lived with her parents in Story City after moving from the farm.

Following the death of her parents she lived for many years in Des Moines with her sister Ellen. For some time she also lived in Slater with her brother Albert. About six years ago she became a resident of the Story City Sunset home.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Jacob and Margrethe Jorgenson; five sisters, Mrs. Olena Holm, Mrs. Emelia Ericson, Mrs. Helen Olson, Martha Jorgenson, Ellen Jorgenson; five brothers, Martin J., Herman J., Albert J., and two brothers who died in infancy.

Survivors include 22 nieces and nephews.
