H. J. JORGENSON

Relatives at Story City recently received word of the death of H. J. Jorgenson, 73, at Flint, Mich., from a heart attack while he was doing secretarial work.

The deceased had lived in Story City for many years, but for some time had been living in Flint, Mich., with his son, Jasper Jorgenson, now in the armed forces.

He is survived by the son, Jasper; three sisters, Mrs. W. E. Erickson of Story City, Mrs. K. S. Olson of Kenyon, Minn., and Miss Anna Jorgenson of Des Moines; and by one brother, Albert Jorgenson, of Des Moines. The wife and mother has been dead for a number of years.

Story City, Feb 5--Among the relatives from out of town who attended the funeral services for the late Herman J. Jorgenson of Flint, Mich., a former Story City resident, were Anna Jorgenson, Albert J. Jorgenson, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Peet, Mrs. Milo Jorgenson, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. August Rasmussen and Ruth Larson, all of Des Moines. Mr. Jorgenson passed away last week at Flint, Mich., and funeral services were held in the St. Petri Lutheran church here on Sunday afternoon, the Rev. S. T. Nelson officiating preceded by a prayer service at the Holm home.

Interment was in the Story City cemetery. Pall bearers were five nephews of the deceased, Morris Ericson, Sherman B. Holm, Sherman and Ingram G. Larson, J. E. Erickson, and Harold Wambold, of Flint Mich., a friend of Captain Jasper Jorgenson, who accompanied him here for his father's funeral.
