Mrs. Josephine Logston

Mrs. Josephine Logston of Ames, age 84 years, died Wednesday afternoon, April 9, at the Story City Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient since March 31.

She was a former resident of the Jewell community but had been living at Ames the past three years.

She is survived by her husband, R. F. Logston; two children, a son, Lyle McDonald of Jewell and a daughter, Mrs. Francis Turner of Fort Lauderdale, Fla; six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one great great grandson and a sister, Mrs. Belle Rullestad of Ames.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 12, at the Bethesda Lutheran Church at Jewell at 2 p.m. with Rev. Norbert Jolivette officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Jewell.
