EVELYN C. THOMPSON

Evelyn C. Thompson, 68, of Story City, died Sunday, June 2, 1965, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, of congestive heart failure.

She was born Aug. 3, 1916, at McCallsburg, to Christ and Martha (Amdahl) Holt.

She was married Dec. 27, 1933, to Blanchard Thompson. They lived in the Story City and Gilbert area.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 5, at 1:30 p.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church with Rev. Larry Tantow officiating. Burial will be in Story City Cemetery.

The body will lie in state from Tuesday noon until time of services at Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home in Story City.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband of Story City; a son, Kenneth, of Gilbert; five grandchildren, two sisters, Marcella Hill of McCallsburg and Beverly Lyons of Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Jerry.
