Evelyn A. Berges

BORN: October 22, 1914
DIED: December 21, 2012
LOCATION: Ames, Iowa

Evelyn was born October 22, 1914 in Venango, Nebraska, the third of ten children to Edwin and Martha Berges. Evelyn graduated from high school in 1932. She moved from California to Ames in 2001. Evelyn enjoyed reading, crafting, gardening and volunteering at her church's annual rummage sale.

Evelyn passed away December 21, 2012 at 98 years of age.

Evelyn is survived by her brother, Dewayne Berges of Boise, Idaho; her sisters, Ronatha Holoway of Grant, Nebraska and Roma Sills of Ames; and her nieces and nephews, Sylvia Matheison, Kim Berges, Pamela Kramer, Janice Berges, Linda (Colin) Halterman, Brad (Kay) Sills and Carmie Sills.

She was preceded in death by her parents; six siblings; and one niece.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Bethesda Lutheran Church.
