Grace Anna Scott, 87, of Grimes, Iowa, died Monday, December 3, 2012, at the Aspirus Hospice House in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Grace was born May 10, 1925, the daughter of Otto Earl and Emma (Heyden) Terhune. Grace graduated from Waterloo West High School and from Open Bible College. She married Ferris Scott on April 17, 1949 in Waterloo, Iowa. Ferris preceded Grace in death on November 23, 2005. Grace was a homemaker and enjoyed genealogy, music, painting, traveling, and most of all studying the Bible.

She is survived by two sons: Kent (Laura) Scott of Mosinee, Wisconsin, Steven (Kelley) Scott of Rosholt, Wisconsin; two daughters: Janis (Ray) Houck of Corning, Iowa, Nancy Fasse of Grimes, Iowa; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a sister: Jean (David) Kroening of Travis City, Michigan.

Her parents and three brothers Dale Terhune, Del Terhune, and Clyde Terhune preceded Grace in death.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday at the Bacon Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, December 8, 2012, at the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada, Iowa. Interment will follow in the Cambridge Cemetery.

The Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada is handling services.
