At home in Nevada, Aug 2, 1881, of scrofula, Frank S. Beatty aged 21 years, 2 months and 18 days.

Frank had been a pupil in this Institution some three years and had made commendable progress in his studies. He was a student in every sense of the word, and he will always be remembered as a hard worker in the class room and in the study room. His character was almost faultless-- he was one of our best boys.--Deaf Mute Hawkeye.
