On Sunday last while Charles Randal aged 14 of Peoria City, and son of Mrs. A. C. Randal* was handling a revolver it was discharged, the ball passing through his heart and killing him instantly, the funeral services were held on the 4th inst.

* "Mrs. A. C. Randal" is Fidelia (Hanks) Randall, wife of Alfred C. Randall.
