OBITUARY.
HUSEBOE

This community was pained and saddened Tuesday afternoon when it became known that Mathias Huseboe, Jr., had passed away. While it was known that he had been failing in health since early in the fall, his hosts of friends were not prepared for the news of his death which came at 5 o'clock on Jan 3, 1911. The immediate cause of death was pneumonia and heart trouble.

Mathias Huseboe, Jr. was born near Stavanger, Norway Feb. 24, 1853. He was the son of Mathias and Helen Huseboe. Deceased came to Marshall County from Norway with his parents in 186? and settled on the same farm on which the father now lives. Dec. 8, 1882, he was married in Chicago to Caroline Sawyer, who died in March 1890. March 7, 1893, at Ottawa, Ill., he was married to Martha Alsvig. In his immediate family he is survived by his wife, two daughters, Miss Helen M. and Mrs. Caroline Gunderson. and one son, Marion M. He is also survived by his father and four sisters, Mrs. D. J. Vinje, Nevada, Mrs. Benjamin Sawyer and Mrs. Andrew Gettestad, LeGrand, and Mrs. Anna Tostenson, of Dillon.

The funeral will be held from the home at 1 o'clock Friday, with interment in the Stavanger cemetery.
