ILLA E. MEIMANN
November 19, 1929 - December 3, 2010

Illa Elizabeth (Byers) Meimann, 81, formerly of rural McCallsburg, died on Friday, December 3, 2010 at Colonial Manor in Zearing. Funeral mass will be held 10:30 am on Monday, December 6 at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1110 11th Street in Nevada with Father Rick Dagit officiating. Private burial will follow in the St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery.

Illa was born on November 19, 1929 in Nevada to Clifford and Minnie (Middlekoop) Byers. She graduated from Nevada High School in 1949. On October 1, 1949, Illa married Carroll Anthony Meimann at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Nevada. She was employed for 42 years at Donnelley Marketing in Nevada. Illa was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Church Study Club and Donnelley's Retirement Club.
Illa is survived by her husband of 61 years Carroll Meimann of Zearing; 2 daughters, JoAnn (Marcus) Burg of McCallsburg and Karen (Kevin) Gogerty of Hubbard; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, Michelle Burg (Jeremy) Bowden and their children Cole and Case, Marc Burg, Ryan (Corolla) Gogerty and Finn, Alicia (Ryan) Roesger and Delaney, Megan Burg; and her sister, Ferne Lash of Sierra Vista, AZ.

Illa was preceded in death by her parents and a twin sister.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Service:

Funeral mass will be held 10:30 am on Monday, December 6 at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1110 11th Street in Nevada with Father Rick Dagit officiating.

Cemetery:

Private burial will be held in the St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in Nevada.
