Patricia Ann Clouser
December 31, 1936 - January 15, 2012

Patricia Ann Clouser age 75, of Ames, passed away on Sunday Jan. 15, 2012 at her home with her family by her side. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, with a 7:00 p.m. Scripture Service at Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care in Ames. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan 19, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Ames, with burial at Gilbert Cemetery.

Patricia was born Dec. 31, 1936 in Boone the daughter of Maurice & Rose (Flynn) Banford. Patricia graduated from Gilbert High School in 1954. She was united in marriage to Gerald Clouser at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Ames on Nov. 26, 1955. To this union, they were blessed with four children.

Gerald & Patricia also lived in Monterey, Calif., Asmara, Ethiopia, and Glen Burnie, Md., where Patricia worked in the Computer & Research Department at the National Security Agency for 17 years until her retirement Dec. 31, 1999.

Patricia was an active member at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Glen Burnie, Md. and later years at St Cecilia Catholic Church in Ames.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Clouser of Ames and their children Mathew (Peggy) Clouser of San Angelo, Texas, Kimberly (Bob) Bell of Arlington, Texas, Debra (Jack) Henrietta of Aledo, Texas and Michael Clouser, of Ames; one sister, Betty Dawson of Virginia Beach, Virginia; eight grandchildren, Jennifer (Derek) White, Bryan (Sarah) Bell, Benjamin and Katherine Clouser, Patrick, Jarred, Michael and Kaitlyn Henrietta; two great-grandsons, Liam Patrick White and Micah Bell and two nephews, David (Leigh Anne) Dawson and Daniel (Cheryl) Dawson, both of Virginia.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice & Rose.

Memorials may be given in memory to Homeward Hospice.
