Ottumwa, Iowa

Stephen Brown, 37, of Ottumwa passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield.

Stephen was born May 27, 1974, in Marshalltown to Frank and Virginia (Miller) Brown. He graduated from Collins-Maxwell High School and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Ottumwa. He enjoyed Iowa and Iowa State sports, NASCAR, camping, being with friends and his Beagle, Freddy.

Stephen is survived by his mother, Virginia; his sisters, Angela (Mark) Marrs and Sherri (Anthony "Tony") Winkler. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ron Gale and his father.

Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2011, at Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada; visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to the Stephen Brown Memorial Fund.
