Obituary

Roy E. Warren, 77, of Huxley, died January 28, 2011. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 2 from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Stevens Memorial Chapel in Ames.

Roy Warren was born July 3, 1933 in Ames to Albert and Josephine (Kennedy) Warren.

He was retired from Winpower in Newton.

He had a passion for dancing, and loved training horses.

Roy is survived by two sons, Russell (Susan) Warren of Mingo, and Robert Warren of Colfax; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Lois Anderson of Ames, and Margaret Scott, of Kentucky; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Tammy; and brother, Allan Warren.
