Florence Kammin

BORN: March 1, 1912
DIED: October 4, 2010
LOCATION: Story City, Iowa

Florence Kammin was born March 1, 1912 to Sven and Ellen (Mathison) Nessa in Story City, Iowa. She graduated Story City High School in 1930 and worked at Moulin Store until she was married. She married Raymond Kammin on March 20, 1937 in Story City. Florence was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Story City where she was very active. She corresponded extensively with her many friends and relatives. Florence enjoyed gardening and visiting with friends.
Florence passed away October 4, 2010 at Bethany Manor in Story City at 98 years of age.

Florence is survived by three sons: Marvin and his wife Essie Kammin of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Norman and his wife Dorene Kammin of Elroy, Wisconsin, and Harlan and his wife Tamra Kammin of New Castle, Washington; and three grandchildren: Benjamin Kammin and his friend Deborah Green, Bradford Kammin and his fiancé Emily McLauglin, and Michael and his wife Ingrid Kammin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and three sisters Elserine in infancy, Ethel Foster, and Stella Frost.
