Betty Ring

BORN: March 22, 1927
DIED: December 27, 2010
LOCATION: Ames, Iowa

Betty Lou Ring, 83, of Ames, died December 27 at Abington on Grand in Ames. Memorial services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 at Bethesda Lutheran Church.

Betty was born in Bemidji, MN on March 22, 1927 daughter of Bertha (Titus) Andreason.

She was one of the founding members of St. Andrews Lutheran Church and later joined Bethesda Lutheran Church in Ames; she was also a member of Wives of Engineers; and PEO. She enjoyed traveling with friends, baking – especially for the Scandinavian Coffee, cooking, camping and entertaining. Betty loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Krupinski; grandchildren, Jason (Maria) Krupinski, Brett Krupinski, and Lauren Krupinski; great grandchild, Riley Krupinski and Braelyn Rose Krupinski.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Ring; and daughter, Cheryl Ring.
