Betty Josephine Watts
BORN: January 26, 1929

LOCATION: Story City, Iowa
Betty Josephine Watts was born January 26, 1929 to Benjamin O. and Anna S. (Haaland) Jacobson in Howard Township near Roland, Iowa. She graduated Roland High School in 1947 and Waldorf College in 1949. Betty and W. Herbert Watts were married February 14, 1953 in Roland. She worked for 17 years as an office worker at Iowa State University before retiring in 1964. Betty was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Roland where she sang in the church choir, and a member of the Roland Legion Auxiliary.
Betty passed away Friday, May 27, 2011 at Bethany Manor in Story City at 82 years of age.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one brother.
