Betty Marie Arrasmith

BORN: April 13, 1922

DIED: March 27, 2012

LOCATION: Story City, Iowa

Betty Marie Arrasmith was born April 13, 1922 to Maynard and Annie (Thorson) Johnson in Hardin County, Iowa. She married Max E. Arrasmith on February 4, 1950. Betty was a member of Bergen Lutheran Church in Roland and worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, Norwegian food and playing cards.

Betty passed away March 27, 2012 at Bethany Manor in Story City at 89 years of age.

Betty is survived by two grandchildren, Amy K. Peterson and Daniel Peterson; and seven great grandchildren: Michaela, Emily, Lukas, Noah, Sophia, Ethan and Zoe.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter Julie Todd; and three sisters, Maxine Nielsen, Gladys Dobson and Alice Stevens.

Memorials may be designated to Bergen Lutheran Church in Roland.
