Julie Johnson

DIED: July 14, 2012

LOCATION: Ames, Iowa

Julie Johnson, 60, of Ames, passed away July 14, 2012 at Israel Family Hospice House. Memorial services will be 3 pm Tuesday, July 17 at Adams Funeral Home in Ames. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be sent to: Benefit for Julie Johnson, South Story Bank and Trust, 626 US Hwy 69, Huxley, Iowa 50124

Julie Marlene Johnson was born December 12, 1951 to Lyle and Edith J. (Cummings) Jay in Des Moines, Iowa. Julie graduated Ames High School and married Robert Johnson on January 1, 1980.

She is survived by her husband Robert Johnson; her eight children: Tony Johnson, Faith Kolo, Jamie Johnson, Michaela Johnson, Roxanne Johnson, Heather Gray, Gary Johnson, and Lyle Johnson; 24 grandchildren; her father Lyle Jay; her brother, Jack Jay; her sister Suzanne Fales; and many nieces and nephews.

Julie was preceded in death by her mother.
