From Story County Watchman August 16, 1906

Mrs. L. D. Brooks over forty years a resident of Boone county, died Monday evening at ten o'clock aged 71 years, 7 months and 26 days. Death was caused by a complication of disease.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Amy A. Seymour was married to Lorenzo Dow Brooks on 30 January 1855 in Indiana.
