David Sylvester Palmer, was born January 1, 1867 and died December 22, 1905, aged thirty-seven years, eleven months and twenty-two days. He leaves to mourn his loss, besides his wife and child, one brother and four sisters, Daniel Palmer, of Clarkson, Iowa, and Sarah Harvey, of East Des Moines; Susannah Lozier, East Des Moines; Lydia Moorhead, Maxwell; Jennie Hick, of Clarinda. The interment took place in the Greenwood cemetery near Des Moines. He was sick only a short time and died in the Mercy hospital. He was well known around Maxwell, having lived here for a number of years.--Maxwell Tribune.
