J. B. Elliott died Sunday night from apoplexy at quite an advanced age. He was formerly a business man in the place and as such was well known to our citizens as a man of probity and uprightness. The funeral was held at the M. E. Church on Wednesday the Odd Fellows taking charge of the ceremonies.
