Friday afternoon Miss Jessie Chitty died at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. Margaret White. She was born in Richland township June 30, 1885, and has made this her home ever since and is well known to our people. She was a graduate of the Nevada High School in 1903. The young lady was one of the girls of the city of whom all spoke highly and was favorably known to all our people and who extend their sympathies to her relatives in this their hour of trial in the loss which they have sustained. She was 19 years 8 months. The funeral was held at the M. E. church on Sunday afternoon and there interred in the Nevada cemetery.
