Roland Record: ....The aged mother of Mrs. Truls Johnson of Milford township died Tuesday morning. She was one of the oldest persons in this section of the state, being about 95 years of age....

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Mrs. Truls Johnson" was Ingeborg "Isabelle" (Erickson) Johnson. Isabella Erickson married Truls Johnson in LaSalle County, Illinois in 1868. According to her death record, Julia Erickson died July 31, 1899 in Milford Township, Story County, Iowa and was buried in Roland, Story County, Iowa.
