The body of Mrs. M. L. Runnels who died in California the first of the week affived in Colo Tuesday. The funeral was held in the M. E. church Wednesday afternoon at 2 p. m., Rev. Boreman officiating. Mrs. Runnels leaves a large number of friends to mourn her departure besides her husband, two sons and a daughter. She went to California about a month ago in hopes of getting relief from consumption.

Word was received here his afternoon of the death of Mrs. M. L. Runneals, which occurred this morning in California where she had gone, accompanied by Mr. Runneals, a little over a month ago in hope of the change of climate benefitting her health.
