Died--On Wednesday of this week Mrs. Rachel Mead died at her home in Sherman township aged about 70 years. A few weeks since her husband died and now she follows to that land of rest. The direct cause was pneumonia inducing heart failure. The funeral will take place today from the Methodist church in Richland township the services being by Rev. Caldwell of that church in Colo. The interment will be in Oak Hill cemetery. She was the mother of eight children all of whom were present when the end came. Those in the county are Mrs. Bartlett of Colo, Mrs. Julius Tisdale of Zearing and sons A., J. and W.
