Personal and Social.

--Chas. B. Ingram last evening arrided in the sity from Los Angeles, Cal., called by the serious illness of his father, but who passed away about six o'clock last evening.

DIED--In this city last evening Mr. J. F. Ingram, at the age of 93 years last May. He was born in Greenville, Ind., and came to Iowa March 21, 1843, and has made his home in Story county since 1878. He was married 50 years since and leaves six children, three sons, J. M. Ingram, C. B. Ingram, and E. H. Ingram, and three daughters, Mrs. W. W. Thrasher, Mrs. S. T. Boster, and Mrs. F. M. Boster, 34 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. The funeral will take place on Sunday next.
