Zearing Enterprise: ....Mrs. Frank Menzel died at her home south east of Zearing Wednesday evening.

OBITUARY.

Mrs. Minnie Johnson Menzel was born in Denmark, March 17, 1866, and died at her home July 30, 1902, aged 36 yrs., 4 mos. and 13 days.

When one year old she came to America with her parents, settling in Nevada, Iowa, where she lived until 19 years of age, when she went with them to live on a farm near McCallsburg, where she lived until her marriage to Frank F. Menzel Feb. 1, 1887. She leaves to mourn her a husband and six children and an aged mother. She was the only child of Louis and Christine Johnson.

Her father died in the early part of April, 1900, her mother since that time having made her home with her.

She was converted and accepted Jesus Christ as a personal Savior Feb. 23, 1902.
