Ames Watchman.

B. A. Knudson was called to Odell, Ill., Saturday by the death of his step mother and promptly responded to the call, and will remain until all things are arranged. Mr. Adams came down from Nevada for a few days during his absence and is proving himself an able assistant in the work of the store.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "B. A. Knudson" was Barney Andrew Knudson who married Clara Luella Adams on 10 October 1900. "Mr. Adams" referred to in the article was presumably her father, John Q. Adams.
