From Story County Watchman December 21, 1900

Story City Herald: ....Mrs. Charlie Schultz died at her home Tuesday morning. She had been troubled for about a year with dropsy the same causing her death. Mrs. Schultz was an aged lady and leaves a husband and three children to mourn their loss.
