Maxwell Tribune: R. N. Stone was born in Arlington, Pa. May 53, 1831 died at Maxwell, Story county, Iowa, Feb. 17, 1900. Mrs. Emeline L. Stone was born in Geauga county, Ohio, March 24, 1831, and died at Maxwell, Story county, Iowa Feb. 20, 1900, age 68 years, 10 months and 27 days....

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Emeline L. (Carpenter) Stone was the wife of Rensellaer N. Stone. Having died 3 days apart, their death notice was combined in the Maxwell Tribune. Obviously, Mr. Stone's birthdate is a typo. He was born 23 May 1831.
