From Story County Watchman May 19, 1899

DIED:--Saturday morning in Cambridge, at the resicence of her daughter Mrs. Wm. Kirk, Mrs. Elizabeth Proctor, aged about 72 years. The last rites were held by Rev. Willson in the Methodist church in that place on Monday after which the remains were brought to Nevada for burial. She leaves a daughter, as above, and three sons, Geo., Lewis, and Ephram to mourn her loss and to look forward to a meeting in that better land where partings shall be no more.
