Collins Clipper: Mrs. W. J. Harper died at 9:40 p. m. Tuesday May 16th. Her decease was expected for some months past, but hope was entirely lost until a few weeks ago. Sarah Jane Warrell was born in Ohio May 5, 1838, being 61 years and eleven days of age at her death. She resided a few years in Indiana and came to Iowa in 1855. Her marriage took place in Clear Creek township, Jasper county August 7, 1864, to Wm. J. Harper, Rev. Jas. Hudson M. P. minister of Peoria officiating. To this union were born nine children, six of whom survive to mourn his loss of a dear mother.
