Story City Messenger: ....Sjur Britson, father of Mrs. J. Jacobson of this place, died last Wednesday at his son P. J. Britson's home in Hamilton county. He was buried in the Story City cemetery be the side of his wife who died some years ago. Mr. Britson was an old settler here formerly living on a farm about 5 miles south of town. He would have completed his 77 year next May....
