Story City Messenger: ....A large number of friends and relatives assembled at Bethel church last Thursday to pay their last respects to Mrs. Madson, who died the Tuesday before of some heart trouble. Mrs. Madsen was born in Denmark Europe in 1827 and ws therefore over 71 years old. She and her husband came to this country in 1871 and settled about two miles south of Story City....
