Colo Watchman.

The wife of L. H. Martin*, a former operator for the Northwestern Railway at this point died at Boone Sunday night. The services were held in the M. E. church and were conducted by Rev. Weeks and the remains were deposited in the cemetery at that place. The folowing from the Boone News gives the other points:

The Woodmen of the World turned out at 6 o'clock this morning to escort the body of the wife of Sovreign L. H. Martin to the train. Short services were held at the residence and the funeral party took the 7 o'clock train to Colo, where the funeral services were held in the M. E. church to-day. The pall bearers who went to Colo were Sovreigns Henry Vallier, Geo. Moerke, W. B. Housman, E. E. Davis, Riccle and Thos. Jones.--Boone News.

*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Maggie E. Gilmore/Gillmore married Levi H. Martin in Dow City, Iowa January 7, 1895. She died just over 2 years later, January 13, 1897.
