From Story County Watchman July 10, 1896

Wednesday Reuben Child received word from Blue Hill, Neb., that his sister, Mrs. Mary Banks, died on the first of July, at the age of 52 years. Mrs. Banks was for many years a residenct of this city and was well and favorably known to all of our older residents who will be pained to learn of the end.
